The EXXY® Smart Pen is a Grade-5 titanium ballpoint pen with embedded artificial intelligence. It transcribes meetings with speaker identification in 40+ languages, digitizes handwriting to the cloud via 6-axis IMU, maps rooms with a 940nm infrared camera, and activates with a single press of the plunger — no app, no Bluetooth pairing, no special paper.
Most smart pens require proprietary dotted paper (Livescribe, Neo Smartpen), a smartphone app (Moleskine Pen+), or only capture audio (Plai). EXXY® works on any paper surface, requires no app, uses room-mapping IR camera for speaker tracking, and combines five features — handwriting digitization, meeting transcription, speaker attribution, room mapping, and AI note-taking — in a single 28g device with 8-hour battery life.
No smartphone is required to use the pen's core features. One click activates transcription, handwriting capture, and room mapping. Cloud sync is optional — up to 10+ hours of audio stores locally on the pen's 1GB internal memory. Subscription details will be announced at the Indiegogo campaign launch.

Yes — unconditionally. If EXXY® does not launch its Indiegogo campaign for any reason, your $25 deposit is returned in full, no questions asked. If the campaign launches, your $25 is applied directly as part of your $219 final pledge. You are never paying more than $219 total for the pen.
Security is a core design principle. All data uses AES-256 end-to-end encryption. The AI processing runs on the pen's Cortex-M33 + NPU — no audio or handwriting data is transmitted unless you choose cloud sync. Local storage holds 10+ hours of audio. The pen is built for boardrooms, legal settings, and healthcare environments where confidentiality is non-negotiable.
